Soma Ghosh is a distinguished educational administrator with over two decades of dedicated service in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Born on October 22, 1973, she has built an exemplary career that spans from classroom teaching to senior administrative roles, demonstrating a perfect blend of academic expertise and administrative acumen. Her journey in KVS began in 2002 as a PGT English teacher, rising to Assistant Commissioner at KVS Regional Office, Ernakulum.

In 2018, she topped the merit list for Assistant Commissioner recruitment, a testament to her exceptional knowledge and capabilities. Throughout her career, she has consistently received grades of 9 and above in her Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) since 2017-18, with her 2019-20 APAR specifically terming her as "an asset for KVS."
